Book-launch events

Book-publishing and London premier book-launch event, September 16th 2015 at Studio Soho.

Christopher Fettes was joined by many alumni and former colleagues from the original Drama Centre London; more recent colleagues, and students he has taught at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. The premier event was hosted by Giles Foreman, with Simon Callow providing an eloquent commentary on his personal experience of the work taught by Yat and Christopher, and its continuing significance.

Book-launch event, November 26th 2015 at Gothenburg University, Sweden.

Christopher Fettes was accompanied by Lindsay Richardson, designer of the book, to the event hosted by Gothenburg University Academy of Music and Drama (Högskolan för scen och musik). An invited audience of staff, current students and those who had been trained by Christopher and Yat in the 1970s (among whom, many of Sweden's most successful actors and directors) heard testament from long-term colleague Frantisek Veres and current representatives of the Högskolan, before Christopher delivered an extensive presentation on how the work came into being.

Book-launch event, February 1st, 2016 at the Players Club, New York USA.

Giles Foreman presented the event hosted by colleague and Players Club member Janice Orlandi, Co-artistic Director of the Actors' Movement Studio NYC.. An invited audience of Industry names including top Casting Directors, Coaches, Actors, Producers and representatives from the American acting, coaching and teaching fraternity watched a specially-filmed welcome from Simon Callow in London, and sound and video sequences by Christopher Fettes recorded at GFCA London, on the work and how the book came into being.
